Thank you all for the kind and loving comments from the previous post! All of your comments really means a lot to me and I would definitely respond to all the sweet comments that you left for me except that I know I am a little behind lately (sorry). My wheel of emotion has finally swung back to the top and I am back to my happy self!
Today is my best friend's graduation and I am super happy for her! Our group of closed friends and her family have all went to her convocation to celebrate this special day with her. There were a lot of funny moments while we are all trying to take pictures of her walking across the stage such as I was too focus on taking random pictures to test my camera's exposure that I didn't realize she already walked past me, her mother was so happy to see her walking across the stage that she forgot to press record on her camcorder, my other friend has to fight with a man for a spot to take picture, etc. In the end, all of us fail to take a decent picture of her on stage. After her convocation, we did our most Asian thing and that is her parents treat us for dim sum YAY! The day can't get merrier with the sunny shining brightly upon Vancouver! Once again, I would like to congratulate her on this big day and wish her the very best on her new journey!

Oh, dear.. poor mom, she forgot the rec button! It could happen to me too, you know. I sometimes go out in town to take pictures of the places I go and what I eat at the restaurant but end up not taking anything.. I forgot I brought the camera for a reason! Well, the memories of that good day will stay with you, your friend and her mom forever, that's for sure :)

ReplyDeleteHopefully you were able to take enough photos after graduation to make up for things. I'm sure your friend appreciates that you tried for her even if things didn't go as planned.
ReplyDeleteEven mismatched furniture can work together if there is a common theme running through the pieces to make them feel like they belong together or you can use paint to unify things a bit. I may be able to find furniture but I'm hopeless with makeup. :) I use just concealer and mascara but I love how you are fearless with makeup, it's a crazy night for me when I find bit of glitter but you go all out and really experiment.
